Why Signature Driving Was Founded
Signature Driving was established in 2015 with a simple goal: to provide professional driving tuition that is patient, supportive and genuinely focused on helping people succeed.
Our founder, Monowara Chowdhury, had already spent years building extensive road experience as a professional bus driver before qualifying as a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI). That combination of real-world driving experience and a genuine passion for teaching shaped the values that continue to guide the business today.
Before becoming a driving instructor, Monowara spent five years driving professional buses, gaining valuable experience navigating busy roads, managing complex traffic situations and maintaining high standards of road safety every day.
She later qualified as a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor and has now spent more than a decade helping learners become safe, confident drivers.
Known for her calm, patient approach, Monowara understands that learning to drive can be both exciting and challenging. She works closely with every learner, adapting lessons to suit individual needs while creating a supportive environment where confidence can grow naturally.
Over the years, we've worked with learners from many different backgrounds, each bringing their own goals, abilities and challenges. Some are taking their very first lesson, while others return to driving after years away from the road or need extra reassurance to overcome anxiety behind the wheel.
